인터넷과 정보통신 기술이 발달함에 따라 전자상거래도 급속히 발전하고 있다. 그리고 전자상거래는 전통 무역보다 현대 경제에서 차지하는 비중이 높아지고 있다. 따라서 한국과 중국은 전자상거래의 활성화를 위한 산업 협력체제를 구축하고 촉진할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 한중 양국의 전자상거래 시장 현황, 특히 온라인 쇼핑 시장 현황을 알아보고 한국과 중국의 전자상거래 활성화를 위한 국가간 전자상거래 협력의 필요성과 협력기반에 대해 설명하여 한중 양국 정부 측면, 기업 측면, 결제시스템 측면, 물류시스템 측면에 전자상거래 협력 현황의 분석을 통해 협력 촉진 방안을 도출할 것이다. 특히, 전자상거래의 온라인 쇼핑시장 분야에는 한국 G마켓과 중국 타오바오 사례로 양국의 전자상거래 기업현황과 협력사업을 살펴보고, 이는 앞으로 양국의 전자상거래 기업과 온라인 쇼핑시장분야에 협력촉진 방향의 시사점을 준다.
Keeping pace with the rapid development of the Internet and IT technologies, e-commerce is dramatically growing. Since the role of e-commerce is becoming more significant in a transitional course from traditional trade to modern economics, South Korea and China are required to establish and promote an industrial cooperation system for invigorating e-commerce in pursuit of the both countries’ economic development. This paper firstly investigates the current situation of e-commerce, especially online shopping markets, between South Korea and China. Then, the cooperative ways making e-commerce active are discussed in the aspect of requirement and current foundation between the two countries. Finally, ways to promote the cooperation are derived by analyzing current collaborative status in various factors including governmental actions of South Korea and China, corporate actions, payment systems, and logistics systems. Specifically, the two countries’ corporate status and collaborative business on e-commerce is investigated through a case study on Gmarket in South Korea and the Taobao in China. Based on the analysis, this paper concludes with proposing directions to improve the countries’ cooperation in e-commerce business and online shopping markets.
