A comparison about a Teacher-Efficacy and Job-Satisfaction of Sensory Disorder School Teachers of Korea and China Written by wang, xuan Department of Special Education Graduate School of Woosuk University Directed by Prof. Chung, Jin Ja Ph.D.The purpose of this study were to investigate teacher efficacy and job satisfaction of sensory disorder(visual impairment and hearing disorder) school of Korea and China.The subjects in this study were 109 teacher of sensory disorder school special of Korea and 92 teacher of sensory disorder school special of China.The instruments used in this study were Mun Jun-hyeok(2007)'s teacher efficacy and job satisfaction scale. The results of the present study were as follows:First, Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in a comparison about a quality of a teacher-efficacy of sensory disorder school teachers of Korea and China. And there is no difference between countries in a personal efficacy of a subordinate domain , but Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in a general efficacy.From the difference by a disorder type of a variables difference, Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in a visual impairment, Korean teachers are higher than Chinese teachers in a hearing disorder. From a personal efficacy of a subordinate domain, Korean teachers are high in hearing disorder teachers and Chinese teachers are high in visual impairment teachers. Chinese teachers are high in a visual impairment and hearing disorder all.According to a sex, Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in a teacher-efficacy for male․female teachers all from a whole teacher-efficacy. And Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in a teacher-efficacy for male & female teachers all from a general efficacy of a subordinate domain, too.According to an age, Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in an efficacy of 20s, 30s and 40s teachers, but Korean teachers are higher than Chinese teachers in 50s. By the difference of a subordinate domain, Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in 20s and 40s, but Korean teachers are higher than Chinese teachers in 30s and 50s. In a general efficacy, Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers from all ages.According to a special education career, Chinese teachers are higher than Korean teachers in a teacher-efficacy of under 5s, 6-10s, 11-16s, 16-25s and more than 25s from a general efficacy of a subordinate domain.Second, from a comparison about a job-satisfaction quality of sensory disorder school teachers of Korea and China, there is no difference in a whole job-satisfaction.In a whole job-satisfaction of teachers by a disorder type of Korea and China from a variables difference, Chinese teachers are high in a job-satisfaction of visual impairment school teachers, and Korean teachers are high in hearing disorder school teachers. From an inner satisfaction of subordinate realm Korean teachers is high in a visual impairment and hearing disorder all, and from external satisfaction Chinese teachers are high in a visual disorder, Korean teachers are high in a hearing disorder.According to a sex, there is no difference between Korean and Chinese teachers from the difference by an age, Chinese teachers are high in a job-satisfaction of 20s and 50s from a whole job satisfaction, and Korean are high from 30s and 40s. From an inner and external satisfaction of a subordinate domain difference, Korean are high from 30s and 40s all in an inner and external job-satisfaction, and Chinese teachers are high all in an inner and external job-satisfaction of 20s and 50s.According to a special education career, Chinese teachers are high in a job-satisfaction of under 5s, 6-10s and more than 25s, Korean teachers are high under 11-16s and 16-25s. Based on the conclusions, the following suggestions were made:First, as this study is the study conducted targeting sensory disorder school teachers of Korea and China, there are limitations conducted targeting School Teachers of Jeonbuk and Kwangju in Korea. Thus, a study targeting national sensory disorder school teachers in the future should be conducted.Second, the study to observe a teacher-efficacy, a job-satisfaction of sensory disorder school teachers and other disorder type teachers must become accomplished.
