Overseas Chinese is the largest diaspora group in the world. As of 2010, the number of Chinese diaspora dispersed globally is 45,430,000 in total and those of whom, almost 73%, are staying in Southeast Asia. Especially, Indonesia has been formed the most complicated and contradictory society of Chinese diaspora. The government of Indonesia carried out national policy purposed Pancasila as an ideology of national integration, but migrants are be seen by separative and discriminative view point. It made enmity among national group after all, and Chinese diaspora is living as a stranger neither assimilation nor separation in particular. Under the background, this study is analyzed the adjustment of Chinese diaspora and its strategy through depth-interview focusing on the diaspora adjustment. Consequently, Chinese diaspora exists in transnational border, which is shown dual adjustment aspect of Chinese diaspora. That is, Chinese diaspora has not only position as local people to settle stably but also dual position to maintain Chinese tradition and culture. Therefore, Chinese diaspora has tried to adjust through the process of ceaseless conflict, clash and convergence against the government’s oppressive restriction policy, social discrimination and attack.
