A non-destructive method for measuring the equivalent source reflection coefficient of microwave power transfer standards is proposed in this paper. An impedance tuner is used to keep the magnitude of the reflection coefficient of the load constant and change the phase angle during the measurement. An optimization method is used to reduce the influence of measurement errors on the measurement results. The measurement results obtained by the new method are relatively consistent to manufacturer’s calibration values.
