Long range distributed optical fiber sensing is urgently needed in many areas, such as pipeline safety, road and bridge monitoring, and so on. Optical chirp chain Brillouin optical time-domain analysis is considered successfully scheme of fast distributed optical fiber sensing, and here, we proposed a fast-monitoring sensing scheme with ultra-long sensing range, which is based on optical chirp chain and Brillouin loss spectrum, and a final parameter of 3.2-s measurement time, 6-m spatial resolution and 150-km sensing range have been achieved over a single-mode fiber.
