Nowadays, airlines pay attention to the fuel consumption in all stages of flight. This paper focuses on fuel consumption while taxiing. Sort out the taxiing data of A320 in Beijing Capital International Airport (ZBAA) based on Minitab, study and analyze the factors affecting fuel consumption. The studies first discuss the average value of fuel consumption and the linear relationship between taxiing time and fuel consumption, then find out the relationship between fuel consumption and other factors. Finally, a checklist is presented to analyze fuel consumption while taxiing. The results show that such checklist can make it easier for dispatchers to do flight plans in Beijing Capital International Airport.
