A series of novel N-(3-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-5-alkythio-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl) amides were synthesized by multistep reactions in yields of 50–84%. The structures of the target compounds were characterized by1H NMR, IR, MS, and elemental analysis. Their in vitro antifungal activities against Fusarium graminearum, Venturia nashicola, and Botrytis cinerea were evaluated by mycelial growth rate test. All the target compounds exhibit moderate to good antifungal activities at a concentration of 100 μg/mL. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
