Replacing thermal power with gas power can promote the realization of the "Carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" goal. Firstly, this paper discusses the development thoughts of gas-hydro integration given the seasonal contradictions of Sichuan-Chongqing hydropower and the advantages of natural gas resources. Secondly, the influence of the willingness of end-end consumption is analyzed on the price of electricity sent to the outside world, and a model of gas-hydro bundled delivery is built. Finally, the economics and carbon emission reduction of gas-electricity replacing thermal power are analyzed taking the example of the Sichuan-Chongqing power grid information in 2019. The case verifies the rationality and feasibility of the model.
