Two RF packaging solutions are described in this paper. One is based on carbon nanotube fence-walls and contribute to a higher RF circuit integration, l0dB improvement in isolation is observed with the carbon nanotube fence-walls.; the other is based on carbon nanotube waveguide and provide alternative approach for EM shielded RF and millimeter interconnects. A carbon nanotube equivalent bulk model is used for 3D electromagnetic simulations and parametric analysis. The fabrication of the test structures are based on a low temperature carbon nanotube transfer technic. Experimental results validate the concept.
