This paper addresses the problems of output feedback stabilization for a class of nonlinear systems with a kind of truncation protocol. Based on the sampled measurements, an output feedback controller is proposed to globally stabilize the nonlinear systems. Then, sufficient conditions are given to ensure that the estimation errors are globally uniformly ultimately bounded. At last, an illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
