The kinetics of nucleation and growth of nickel particles from a serine-containing electrolyte was studied by voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The electrocrystallization of nickel on a copper electrode proceeded by the instanteneous nucleation mechanism. The main kinetic characteristics of nucleation were calculated.
