520 | ▼b영문초록 : This research is meaningful in understanding one phase of the times through Tasan's music-theory in the latter period of Chosun Dynasty, Tasan, Cheong Yak-yong who is a great successor, is a representative scholar of Practical-Study in the latter period of Chosun Dynasty. So comprehending Tasan, that is, can be an understanding of the period. From this point of view, I will make clear his music-theory centering around Tasan's first historical materials, 「Akseogozon」(樂書孤存) and 「Tasannonchong」. On the contrary to the former period of Chosun Dydasty, which is on the basis of Confucianism, is the latter period Practical-Study appears. This study brings various changes in politics and economics, and comes out as new social innovations by many scholars of it. They tried to overcome the absurdities of social morality and to get over the China-superiority theory in every point of view by a progressive historical view of development on the basis of the spirit of Reformation Music Study. And they recognized that music could purify human natures and affection, and control their desires, so recover original humanity, and more over enlighten the people and make them establish right politics. Then many scholars of Practical-Study including Tasan, that is, Yi Ik, Hong Dae-yong, Park Ji-won, Yi Deok-moo, Yoo Deuk-gong, Kim cheong- hee, Chae Han-gee, Yi Kue-kyong, etc, investigated thoroughly old music voluntarily as present music which is essential music, and formed music culture playing on musical instrument in fact. Therefore in Tasan's music-theory research, examines closely relations between nature, affection, and music, and then investigates influences that the music affects education and politics. Besides through Tasan's musical view that looked a folk music, we can realize the spirit of self-praise that our nation can be subject one from scientific and rational viewpoints, not receiving non-critically the theory of music and melody of old times. Finally, from the viewpoint that let's comprehend correctly our music, his research must be observed in this time that differently habitual practice, musical theory of the latter period of Chosun Dynasty, Tasan made clear music, whose historical position stands out in bold relief, and there is significance in reinvestigating tradition of our times. | |
