This paper has been proposed the modeling technique for the driving system of finishing mill to estimate the durability, vibration and performance of the system. The analysis model is built by DAFUL which is commercial multi-flexible body dynamics analysis software. The design parameters such as radius and length of spindle shaft and assembled positions are studied about the performances of reaction forces and universal joints and shaft stress. Estimation method is used to get the solution sets for the design study. The estimation method based on multivariate interpolation method was implemented to predict a performance for the proposed design parameters. The design cases are compared with the corresponding analysis results to verify this proposed method.
