Due to the accelerating pace of life and the increasing pressure, minimalism is once again making a splash in all areas of society. China’s tea market has also produced milk tea brands that fit this trend, which has become the main means of marketing the value of tea and beverage brands. Through the prior research and investigation on the performance of minimalism, we set up a perceptual and expressive analysis project on the website homepage of five representative milk tea brands in China, and extracted the characteristics of expressiveness. Based on this, the purpose of this study was to explore the effective methods of expression on the web. The results of the study showed that the constructive expressive characteristics of the milk tea brand website had a significant impact on the minimalist web design, with the characteristics of moderation having the greatest impact on the minimalist performance of the web. Perceptual expressive characteristics are relatively few compared to constitutive expressive characteristics, and explicit characteristics have a great impact on the minimalist expression of the web pages. Thirdly, the interacting expressive characteristics have the least influence on the minimalist web design, but they are also very important characteristics of web pages design characteristics.
