In the process of industrialization in Korea, the policies on agriculture has always focused on the stable and increasing supply of foodstuffs and price stabilization of agricultural products. Improving agricultural productivity and building up the agricultural infrastructure are the main targets of Korea's agricultural policies. The major agricultural policies implemented to improve its productivity in the process of industrialization were geared toward mechanizing agriculture, upbringing agricultural human powers and enterprises, developing and disseminating agricultural techniques, and building up the agricultural infrastructure that included Large-scale Comprehensive Agricultural Development Project, Agricultural Water Development Project, Farmland Re-plotting Project, Agricultural Facilities Operation & Maintenance Project, and Farmland consolidation/Drainage Improvement Project and so on. As Korea achieved great achievement through its agricultural policies, we can find some suggestions to China from it. First, China should increase its investment in the future in order to overcome the stagnation of agriculture. Second, increasing the production scale is necessary to improve the competitive power of agricultural products in China. Third, China should also improve the structure of agricultural production and increase the proportion of commercialized products of agriculture to increase the competitive power of agriculture. Fourth, in order to address the problem of disguised unemployment in rural districts, the government should support the development of the small-and-medium sized environmental -friendly enterprises, rural service trades, and processing industries for agricultural products in rural districts. Fifth, it should improve the welfare services in rural districts including the educational and medical services for a stable development of agriculture. Sixth, for playing the Non-Trade Concerns role of agriculture, industries of Green Tourism, weekend farm and experience of rural culture should be fostered in China.
