The article offers information on activity of students to visualize changes in molecular bonds and explore the concept of surface tension. It is noted that milk, like water, is cohesive in that its molecules are attracted to one another, and creates surface tension. It is noted that adding dish soap to milk significantly decrease the surface tension of the milk as the dish soap will dissolve and the molecular bonds will change.
