Several problems can be solved using Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) and as a result, interest in cloud-oriented architectural solutions that employ FaaS has rapidly increased. Consequently, it is crucial to understand how FaaS-based infrastructures behave. The Orama framework, which supports the execution of benchmarks in FaaS-based environments, is presented in this work. Orama can orchestrate the execution of tests and statistical analysis, as well as the deployment of ready-made architectures. In the experiments, three public cloud providers were involved and it was possible to see the performance differences between the providers for equivalent use cases. In general, Azure delivers a longer cold start time, and as concurrency increases, its average response time increases as well. AWS and GCP obtained similar results, although AWS had a higher request failure rate than GCP. From the analysis of the results presented by Orama, it was possible to perceive that the framework is capable of acting in decision-making processes, presenting insights into the performance of FaaS environments.
