The simulation results of parameters of a helical electron beam formed by a low-voltage adiabatic magnetron injection gun for 400 GHz gyrotron have been presented. The results of beam-wave interaction show the possibility of the efficient low-voltage operation of 400 GHz gyrotron with a single helical electron beam. The simulations have been performed in the accelerating voltage range from 2.5 kV to 7 kV and for the helical electron beam current of 200 mA.
