The design and experimental results of a X-band relativistic high-power backward-wave oscillator driven by a 1 MV linear induction accelerator is presented. The design includes a linear numerical analysis and the simulations using the 2_-dimension electromagnetic particle-in-cell MAGIC code. Peak output power of about 210 MW was generated with frequency of 9.8 GHz and duration time of 50 ns. This pulsed microwave radiation will be used to drive a GW order high-power free-electro laser amplifier.
