The product assembling quality problem is mainly due to the variation factors in the assembling stage. According to ISO 9001:2015, the risk-thinking should be adopted to expound the assembling quality problem, and the excessive reliability degradation of the assembled products is the essence of the assembling quality risk. However, there is no systematic technical means to realize reliability oriented assembling quality risk control. Therefore, this paper proposes an assembling quality risk control strategy based on the reverse assembling RQR chain. Firstly, the assembling RQR chain is proposed, and the formation mechanism and connotation of the assembling quality risk are expounded. Secondly, according to the reverse operation mechanism of the assembling RQR chain, the Critical to Reliability(CTR) parameters in assembling process is identified through the Axiomatic mapping theory; Thirdly, according to the contribution of each CTR parameter variation to the assembled product reliability loss, the CTR parameters weights are computed; Fourthly, the CTR parameters are sequenced to the desired control CTR parameters and the uncontrolled CTR parameters, and the control strategy is presented for the desired control CTR parameters to minimize the assembling quality risk; Finally, a case study of a circuit dust cover is given to validate the proposed approach.
