This paper proposes a new phaseless measurement method for the performance evaluation of CATR(Compact Antenna Test Range). This measurement method sets up two probes to receive the signals. The interferometric superposition of them deduces the phase difference between the two signals. The received signal of one probe is regarded as the reference signal, and another probe is moved to measure the signal in the whole plane to obtain the phase relationship between the sampling points in the quiet zone. Then the phase of the quiet zone is recovered. The loss brought by the system and the effect of phase shift on phase recovery are discussed, and simulation results prove the feasibility and accuracy of the method.
