We study Rabi oscillations between two subbands of a symmetric double quantum well that is coupled by a strong electromagnetic field. We use the effective nonlinear Bloch equations for the description of the system dynamics and present numerical results for different initial conditions of the system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
