The article presents information on a study related to the development of a highly enantioselective and diastereoselective allyboration of ketones catalyzed by chiral BINOL-derived catalysts. The study considers the asymmetric allylation reaction as a powerful method for the constructin of chiral building blocks for use in synthesis.
